This nanoencapsulation technology is designed to address key limitations of conventional macro- and microencapsulation approaches, including restricted molecular diffusion, fibrosis, and functional decline. The technology forms a nanoscale protective membrane on the cell surface that blocks immune cell access while maintaining the exchange of oxygen, nutrients, and therapeutic factors. Our proprietary SA-Ty enzyme technology further enhances membrane stability, reinforcing long-term protection and functional maintenance of transplanted cells.
